i've become an aspiring film critic! NOT!

such a bad movie!

blood the last vampire. the plot doesn't develop much. i can't comprehend why a person can calm down so fast after seeing her father's horrible death. the movie is in english? more like engrish if you ask me. i was very disappointed with the graphics, i hate the stylized blood and stop motion like animation. i thought i could settle with superb graphics if the storyline's bad. yep, i was devastated and i even looked forward on seeing this movie. the good point of this movie, good-guy-fighting-bad-ninjas-in-the-woods. and all of the other scenes are -yawn-. 2.5/10 for me. i would give it a 3 if gianna's japanese.

on the other hand,

bruno, with the tagline "borat is so 2006", is a great movie even though the storyline is so close to borat. sacha baren cohen plays bruno, a homosexual fashion reporter in err, norway? or is it sweden? (i just checked, bruno is from austria.)he talks in a funny austrian accent just like in borat, funny kazakh accent? he screwed up his career in his homeland and sets out to america to start over. when he arrived in america he made a fool out of himself just like in borat. he tries to start a talk show but failed blah, blah, blah and then he lost his friend halfway through the movie just like in borat.
with so much similarity to borat, people might say bruno isn't fresh and the movie itself might offend the gay community but i say it's a great movie to watch if your sense of humor is high. 9/10, on par with borat in my opinion and definitely going to be heavily edited if this movie ever shows in Malaysia.

happy fasting,
cheers!

Mesilou Atamis Homestay

see i'm not really into "homestays". i thought they're boring, feels kinda awkward staying at a total stranger's home even, and BORING. i emphasized "boring" cuz that is what i felt during my 2 days, 1 night stay at mesilou. awkwardness with my foster family, yes, but they are nice people and i had fun with them. the activities there, simply not for me. hiking, jungle trekking, visiting farms, fishing traditionally, i'm not meant to do those. i did enjoy the bamboo music performance though. and the nature walk, our guide really knows his stuff. the jokes he threw in during our walk were not half bad too. too bad the nature walk only lasted about 45 minutes. i'd prefer they make it longer. the scenery at mesilou is to die for! the stream there are just spendid. the water flows directly from mt kinabalu, really cold, makes people think twice of having a splash or two. the air is refreshingly fresh, the cool breeze can make an angry bull calm down. the flora, relaxed my soul as i sat on a rock by the stream. the traditional bamboo music band rocked! they covered some locally famous songs, instrumentally and "karaokely". two of the village elders danced to the beat of the music. some of my friends joined in after a while. i was exhausted at that time so i didn't bother to join in. nevertheless, i really enjoyed their performance.

Mesilou: the highest village in Malaysia; about 1500m above sea level, 21-22'C average, about 3hrs drive from KK, Dusun natives mostly Muslims, sweaters are recommended.

whose laughing now (totally unrelated, utter nonsense)

i volunteered to handle hot tour club's faculty news which will (hopefully) published fortnightly starting in about 2 weeks. i just hope the representatives of each part will cooperate to make this thing work smoothly. i'm the self proclaimed editor-in-chief in this stuff. i'll be working hard on that shit starting, uhh, when i feel like it.

members of our faculty had a meeting a few hours ago, there are 60+ freshmen and that is quite surprising as normally just 40+ freshmen showed up each semester. the GIRLS, there are quite a number that are pleasant with my eyes. the BOYS on the other hand, nahh, not really interested. lol.

side story - i blew nearly RM50 this afternoon on college pad, blank paper and so forth. surprised myself when i received the bill. kinda hesitated to hand over my RM50 note to the cashier. and because of that, i'm broke yet again with not enough money for fuel of the fuel-inefficient car that i currently drive.

i might have to answer a series of questions by our beloved lecturer tomorrow, so, i'm off to bed.

cheers

i'm back, beeyotch!!

well, i'm running out of time now. in two days time i'll be a student again. i'm not sure i'm ready for this, my brain's been idle for 2 fucking months. fuck that, maybe this new semester will be better than previous semesters. god speed!

since last sunday, black outs have happened almost everyday and because of that i nearly lost my mind as well. when i was out to town, the electricity seems fine and when i'm home, the motherfucker starts to fuck around. to top that, the weather was incredibly hot. i just can't stop sweating and sighing.

before i forget, transformers; revenge of the fallen is the shit! just awesome! EPIC WIN! waayyyyy better than the first one. going to watch it again. kinda heart broken though when i found out that megan fox has a dick. she was HAWT in the movie. should i use he instead of she? not to offend anybody, i can hardly believe it.

cheers!
