blood the last vampire. the plot doesn't develop much. i can't comprehend why a person can calm down so fast after seeing her father's horrible death. the movie is in english? more like engrish if you ask me. i was very disappointed with the graphics, i hate the stylized blood and stop motion like animation. i thought i could settle with superb graphics if the storyline's bad. yep, i was devastated and i even looked forward on seeing this movie. the good point of this movie, good-guy-fighting-bad-ninjas-in-the-woods. and all of the other scenes are -yawn-. 2.5/10 for me. i would give it a 3 if gianna's japanese.
on the other hand,
bruno, with the tagline "borat is so 2006", is a great movie even though the storyline is so close to borat. sacha baren cohen plays bruno, a homosexual fashion reporter in err, norway? or is it sweden? (i just checked, bruno is from austria.)he talks in a funny austrian accent just like in borat, funny kazakh accent? he screwed up his career in his homeland and sets out to america to start over. when he arrived in america he made a fool out of himself just like in borat. he tries to start a talk show but failed blah, blah, blah and then he lost his friend halfway through the movie just like in borat.
with so much similarity to borat, people might say bruno isn't fresh and the movie itself might offend the gay community but i say it's a great movie to watch if your sense of humor is high. 9/10, on par with borat in my opinion and definitely going to be heavily edited if this movie ever shows in Malaysia.
